InFARMations are Back! Portland, Salem, Corvallis, and Bend
Friends of Family Farmers has hosted InFARMations since 2009, bringing eaters and farmers together to discuss some of the most pressing issues facing our local food systems. While these have been held mostly in Portland over the years, we are excited to announce a new slate of InFARMations in Salem, Corvallis, and Bend, along with Portland, that will cover a wide range of topics.

September 17th, Portland: What Does it All Mean? Breaking down farm certifications, labels, deceptive marketing and greenwashing
October 1st, Bend: Water and Agriculture in the High Desert - Come learn about the strategies being employed to restore the Deschutes River and ensure that fish, farms, and families can thrive.
October 15th, Portland: Vote With Your Dollars! Conversations about keeping your money in the local economy, and why and how to get to know your Farmers
October 21st, Salem: How and Why to Purchase Local Meat - Defining what it means to purchase "half of cow" and how to go about it
Film Screenings with FoFF!
Join us for one of many special screenings of the film Eating Animals followed by a discussion of the realities of factory farming. Discover how you can support producers in the Oregon Pasture Network who are raising their animals on pasture, a healthier and more environmentally-friendly alternative to the industrial model.
