InFARMation Returns February 27 to Central Oregon
What does it mean to be farming in the midst of climate change? Can agriculture be a part of the solution? What is your role in building a sustainable food system in Oregon? We will tackle questions like these and more at an upcoming InFARMation event in Portland and Bend in February.
InFARMation: Land, Soil, Water, and Farmers: The Future of Sustainable Agriculture in Oregon
Wednesday, Feb. 27, 6-8:30 pm - Jackson's Corner East, 1500 NE Cushing Drive - Bend
Over 60 folks came out to our Salem InFARMation on February 12 to hear from farmers and OSU experts on issues ranging from soil health and water conserving farming techniques, to beginning farmer access to land. The Central Oregon InFARMation event on Wednesday, February 27 will also feature a panel of local farmers talking about local issues related to climate, water, agritourism and more.
Join us for a free fun and informative evening and find out how YOU can get involved on behalf of family farmers to help shape our local food systems.
