Virtual Farmer Social
Zoom Meeting
Monday, April 6, 7:30pm
Friends of Family Farmers invites you to a Farmer Social, a virtual casual get together. Join us on Monday April 6th from 7:30 to 9 pm to talk about if and how your farming plans have changed since the spread of COVID-19. There will be a suggested topic and some light facilitation from FoFF staff to keep the conversation going, otherwise this is purely a space for farmers to talk with other socially responsible Oregon family farmers.
Many choose farming as a career because of a strong connection to the land, a desire to feed your community, a family legacy, or a need to be part of building a better, healthier world for the future. During a crisis like this, our choice to live on the land and raise food could make farmers and ranchers feel more isolated than ever.
FoFF has always brought farmers together to share ideas, commiserate on common roadblocks, seek advice and find creative solutions. We want to continue to serve that purpose for family farmers across the state despite the pandemic. Together, we can help keep Oregon a great place to live and farm.
