The Oregon Pasture Network (OPN) is a program of Friends of Family Farmers designed to support the growth of pasture-based agriculture in our state. The OPN is partnering with Dr. Woody Lane of Lane Livestock Services to offer this 3-Day Intensive Workshop on Grazing, Soils, and Pastures. You'll learn how to set up a grazing system, how forages grow, what makes a good pasture, when to open the gate and when to move animals off a pasture, how to soil test, fertilize, and lime your pastures. Three evenings of intensive online instruction from a leader in the grazing field.
This course is open to all new, future, or expanding livestock owners, prospective livestock owners, and land managers. Registration is for all 3 nights of workshop and participants are strongly encouraged to tune in for every session as the material builds. OPN Members get a $15 discount!
$50 for the full 3-day virtual workshop series
$35 for OPN members
